Opening a business in Central European countries – opportunities and problems

Opening a firm in one of the Central European states brings us some opportunities, however as well some problems. In general these places are interesting field to have a business.

If we look at states from Poland to Hungary we will notice quite a lot similarities in this area. Firstly, this countries have got fantastic and well-educated workers and they are not cost that much as in Western Europe, what’s more the organisation of the legal system is much more effective than in states of Central and South Asia. Countries such as Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia have a great roads and logistic background. In Poland quality of the roads is not that high, but it has improved for the last ten years, but the industrial park in Poland is quite big. The Southern job (see european patent attorneys) countries have a good climate, however in the Republic of Poland it depends of the time of the year. Today we have hot summers, but not very cold winters, so logistic go without hindrance, nevertheless snowy weather could happen in the first months of the year (sometimes even in April or May) will be freezing, specially in Poland. It is a nice idea to buy winter tires, even if we have them only as a protectiokn. Industrial park in Poland is quite big, nevertheless it needs money and innovations, there is still lots of solutions to take in these matter, in other countries these issues seems to be better.

The general problem is the unstable political atmosphere in Hungary and Poland and the problems on boarders with Russian Federation and Ukraine. The Eastern European countries constantly have a large influence on the economic situation in this region. Nevertheless corporations with its logistic, accounting systems, warehouses in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia have got a big field to improvement and extension.

It is an interesting opportunity to start a firm in Central Europe, however it is related with some risk. It is safe to have a financial background in the Western European countries or in the USA.
