Lately I have seen that I got fat. My beloved pair of jeans were very tight, instead of loose. My face rounded. My stomach was not so flat as earlier. I was aware that I gotta do something about it. I didn’t want my belly to get worst. However, I already knew that I would not be able to give up good food. I love eating and I really believe that my life without good food will not be quite happy. I can’t be on diet. I just can’t. Consequently, I was aware that instead of diet, I gotta to choose something else – doing sport.
Nonetheless, it was not such an easy decision. I didn’t really know what kind of sport would be best for me. I was playing volleyball and basketball when I was younger, but I didn’t love it. Now, I was hoping to find something I would love so every training could be a real pleasure, not a commitment. I was hoping to get inspired by one of my friends or family members. Most of them were doing some sports. In consequence, I believed it would be easy to choose a discipline for me.

Many of my friends like running. I need to admit that I am pretty jealous when I was watching them finishing marathons. Nonetheless, it looks a bit too hard for me. I enjoy watching people who run, but when I try to do it myself, it is not so nice anymore. I did that this Wendesday and I just felt that I would not love running.
My best friend was trying to convince me for swimming. I know how to swim. I was swimming a lot when I was younger. Nevertheless, I think that I may be a bit too old for that now. I definitely, don’t mean swimming. However, all of these things strictly connected with swimming – you gotta dry your hair after swimming, you have to take your time to go and come back from the swimming pool as they are not located in many district. I know this might sound like exaggerating, but I simply felt I have to keep on searching for something else.
Later on, when I was still searching for an inspiration, I saw an ordinary man on custom fixie bike. I really loved this! It was so cool and fashionable. I made up my mind to try it. At first I rent a bike for a weekend, just to make sure that will be a sport I would like to do regularly. When I notice that I love this sport, I decided to buy my ladies city bike. I started to be so passionate about this sport, that I not just lost weight, by also managed to convince my boyfriend to buy 1 of those trendy mens city bike too. At this moment, almost every afternoon we do many around our town on our bikes. We are fully healthy couple!
